Kevin Keohane | Brand & Talent

About Brand & Talent

Senior counsel for the point where brand, culture and growth meet.

Brand & Talent is led by Kevin Keohane, a strategist, facilitator and author with two decades of experience helping organizations find the story that matters and align people behind it.

Kevin Keohane

Two decades. Four continents. One consistent focus.

Kevin has led brand narrative, employer brand, culture and go-to-market work for organizations including EY, Deloitte, Coca-Cola, Syngenta, Securian Canada, SimonMed and BT Openreach. Fourteen years in London with Publicis and WPP gave him a global view of complex organizations; his work today combines that experience with the speed, access and accountability of a founder-led consultancy.

He is the author of Brand & Talent (Kogan Page) and The Talent Journey, teaches go-to-market strategy at MBA level, and developed the EX2CX methodology for connecting employee-experience friction to customer outcomes.

His strength is not simply generating an answer. It is helping a leadership team confront the real choices, reach the answer together and make it usable throughout the organization.

The operating model

One accountable lead. The right senior team. No unnecessary layers.

Kevin leads every engagement. When the work requires additional expertise, Brand & Talent assembles proven senior writers, designers, creatives, researchers and technologists around the brief. The team is built for the problem rather than pulled from a fixed roster.

Principle What it means for the client
Founder-led The senior person in the room remains responsible for the thinking and the outcome.
Co-developed Leaders participate in the choices, creating alignment and ownership as the strategy takes shape.
Assembled Specialists are selected for the work; clients do not fund bench time or junior layers.
Practical The engagement produces language, decisions and tools people can actually use.
AI-accelerated Research and production move faster while human judgment remains accountable.

Point of view

A few things Kevin believes—and builds from.

  • A brand is a business choice, not a communications veneer.
  • Difference matters only when it is credible, relevant and consistently delivered.
  • Culture is the operating environment for the brand promise.
  • A leadership team must be able to explain the strategy in the same language without sounding scripted.
  • Technology should accelerate clarity, not automate confusion.

A useful first conversation should create clarity before it creates a scope.

If your company is at an inflection point, bring the unresolved question. Kevin will help you locate the real issue and identify the most useful next move.
